Immediately following the San Francisco earthquake of 1906, Colbert
Coldwell and Benjamin Arthur Banker saw an opportunity to help
rebuild the City by offering knowledgeable, competent and respectable
real estate services. The high standards set by these early real
estate professionals remains the benchmark for Coldwell Banker today.
Coldwell Banker is home to more than 120,000 sales associates in some
3,700 offices throughout the world. The company represents an average
of one out of nine homes sold in the United States each year. Its
luxury home marketing program, known as Previews International,
generates more than $97 million in luxury home sales each day. Last
year Coldwell Banker sold more than 5,300 million dollar-plus
properties throughout Northern California accounting for more than $9
billion in sales.
Coldwell Banker Northern California has sixty-three offices
throughout Northern California, with over 4,300 real estate
professionals and the number one market share in the region. Last
year alone, Coldwell Banker Northern California represented over
40,000 buyers and sellers generating sales of more than 220 homes per
day. In 2004, 26.7% of all listings sold and closed in San Mateo
County and 21.8% of all listings sold and closed in Santa Clara
County were transacted by Coldwell Banker sales associates, more than
by any other real estate firm on the Peninsula.
Other Coldwell Banker divisions include the Coldwell Banker Referral
Network, a national referral service and Coldwell Banker Relocation
services, a corporate relocation management company that is
responsible for bringing an additional 5,000 relocating buyers and
seller to the Northern California real estate market.
Founded on a commitment to professionalism and customer service,
Coldwell Banker provides an array of services and a level of support
unmatched in the real estate industry.
I am very proud and excited to carry on the Coldwell Banker tradition of commitment, and to providing these services to you.
